This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. Visit statistics are computed on our server from an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day; your IP address is never stored in clear.

When the Cineloo app looks up a movie, show, album or radio station, it only contacts the cineloo.org service and sends the title, year, language, known identifiers (TMDB, IMDb, MusicBrainz…), artist and album, or station name. We keep these requests to run the service and improve title recognition, with an anonymous fingerprint of the installation, never the path of your files.

cineloo.org queries the sources (TMDB, Wikidata, Wikipedia, TVmaze, MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, LRCLIB, Radio Browser, Apple Podcasts, OpenSubtitles.com, Trakt) and serves the images itself: your address is passed on to none of them.

Trakt and subtitles, only if you use them. For a profile connected to Trakt, the app sends through cineloo.org the TMDB and IMDb ids of titles, watch dates and play counts, your ratings, watchlist additions and removals, playback progress and your Trakt token, which cineloo.org passes on to Trakt without recording it. When you search for subtitles online, it sends the OpenSubtitles fingerprint and size of the video file, the TMDB and IMDb ids, season and episode and the languages you want, never the file name or path.

Podcasts: to search for a show or read its episode list, the app sends through cineloo.org the search words, the language and the feed address. The episode audio itself is downloaded directly from the podcast publisher, like radio streams.

The administration area uses a strictly necessary session cookie.
